Logan Square Apartments

Great apartment! Love it here, no complaints whatsoever. If you’re looking for an apartment in the mid-tier rent range, this is the place to go. Great location, great front desk staff.

Office staff is nice but the unit they put me in was nothing like the unit they showed me. It was extremely small for the insane amount they charge and it would take 3+ weeks for maintenance requests to be filled. I went without working outlets in my kitchen for almost a month before someone came and even then, only 3/4 worked.

This is the worst place an Auburn student could choose to live. The apartment has flooded more than 9 times since move in and the staff has been no where close to helpful. Because of the floods, furniture started to mold, but it just joined the mold that was already in the apartment air vents before moving in. Flooding not only occurred from the rain but also from the celling. On one special occasion when returning from class the entire ceiling was missing. In July, the replaced ceiling began to cave in which resulted in us having enough and moving out. Guess what? More mold was found when they took out the ceiling the second time. From the walls popping, to the amenities basically falling apart ( the sink isn't even held onto the counter), the worst thing about Logan Square has to be the staff. The staff expected July's rent in full when the ceiling and most of the walls were missing or else we would be sent to collections. The manager is useless and just states "there's nothing I can do". The health department even came and deemed the apartment unlivable on top of everything previously stated. Only live here if you hate your life and want to make it worse.

I've been living here for about two months and have no had any issues so far. I'm under the impression that they have received new management, which has made the entire process of moving for the first time quite easy. There are 3 different buses that rotate the complex, which makes it nice to get to campus at any time. Overall pretty satisfied.

I’ve lived at Logan Square for two years. Maintenance: Some days they come out immediately. Other days, like when my AC is down in the middle of the summer, it took multiple days. The AC went out three times because they wouldn’t fix the original issue at first. My maintenance requests have been repeatedly deleted with no follow up. There is no way to request emergency maintenance if the front office is closed. If you do have an emergency, call the office instead of just putting in an online request. “emergency” requests online won’t get completed for multiple days. Upon move-in, I was told they would install drip pans on my stove. They never did. I marked several issues on my move-in inspection form that were never fixed. When I did put in a maintenance request for a couple of them, they were deleted or marked unnecessary. However, my apartment was clean when I moved in and only need some small cleaning. Tiger Transit: If you aren’t on the west corner of the complex to get on the first stop, you probably won’t make it onto the bus, so plan accordingly. Amenities: The pool is pretty good with bathrooms available outside. I never used the gym since it was fairly small. If you want to use a treadmill or bike, its available. Rent: The apartments are priced entirely too high for what you get. Then again, almost everything in Auburn is doing that. If you can afford it, it’s an okay place to live. Edit: You get charged the whole month of July despite your lease ending on the 15th.
