You will FREEZE. I was warned prior to going it was so cold. I don’t know how the older population stands it, or maybe they don’t. It’s even freezing inside during the winter when it’s actually cold outside (40 and below outside). Our waitress was amazing though and the food was good. Please consider making the temperature more friendly; even ask people at check out how they felt about the temperature if you don’t want to take it from me. Also every single time I order scrambled eggs from here they are ALWAYS undercooked and I’m ALWAYS told they can’t take it off so they take my child’s drink off the bill instead, even though I don’t eat the eggs at all, and don’t want a replacement afterwards.. like it’s my fault. We will still be back however: I do like their other meals, and their gift shop is great; plus our waitress has never displeased us in anyway.

Our server KC was amazing. She was timely and on top of any need. The food is not the quality of the past. The fried catfish was very good. Chicken fried steak was not made fresh and had the appearance and taste of premade frozen patties with can gravy. Chicken tenders were good with no complaints. The biggest let down was the fried apples. Tasted like Comstock pie filling. To summarize the waitress knocked it out of the park, just the food was not to the standard of the service.

We went in fairly late, 8:15 when they closed at 10:00. There were about 4 or 5 couples or small families there being served. We got our drinks and order taken fairly quickly and then our food was brought out not too much later. Our server was friendly and filled our drinks. However, I did have to remind him that he hadn't brought out my husband's mashed potatoes and that we needed napkins. We did appreciate that it was not freezing in the restaurant tonight. Usually it is so cold that, even in a heavy hoodie or jacket, we cannot enjoy our meals and the food always gets cold as well. Thank you for the warmth tonight y'all!!!

Always love the food and had the best waitress ever!!! Her name is Katelynn (? Spelling) and she did an excellent job! She showed us to our table, took our order, checked on us, and brought our food and did this with several customers. She hustled and did it with a smile!! She has a great personality too! Kudos to her!!!

I can’t imagine the humiliation of managing this disaster of a restaurant. Sure, they were busy, but come on—it’s not like it was the Super Bowl. There were just two of us. We place our order, and 23 minutes later (yes, twenty-three), someone casually strolls over to inform us that what we ordered isn’t even available. Stellar start. At the 40-minute mark, the biscuits and cornbread finally arrive—sans butter, of course. It then took two waitresses (and what felt like an expedition to Narnia) to locate some butter. By the time the food showed up, 50 minutes had passed. But wait—it gets better! One plate arrived incomplete, missing its protein entirely, while the meatloaf on the other plate was raw in the middle. RAW. That person just gave up and didn’t eat. Honestly, I don’t blame them. If this place were a ship, it’d sink before it even left the dock.

We had not been to a CB in many years. Stopped in for breakfast on a LONG road trip. Our waitress was Amazing. The food was perfection and we were catered to with all our needs before getting back on the road.

Only good thing was the 5 minute wait to be seated. We ordered our drinks and they didn’t come very fast and then when we did order our food we didn’t get it for 1 hour and 15 minutes after we ordered it. The waitress didn’t come by and check on us or bother to come tell us if our food was running late or anything. Then after we did get our food she came by and said you don’t need anything else right? I’m going to be in the back and won’t be back out to check on you. When we paid the manager asked how our service and food was and we told her horrid as she said with a smile on her face “ oh, I’m sorry” obviously the smile on her face suggested she wasn’t really that sorry. Will definitely not ever be back to eat at this location again.

I ordered chicken fried chicken, it came out thick hard and rubbery! My friend ordered the meatloaf and Southern Chicken. Our chicken was the same kind. Hers also was rubbery. We used a steak knife to try to cut it! It was so nasty! I kept waiting for our server to come ask why mine is just sitting there but she never did. She finally came by and gave us the bill. I told her we couldn’t eat the. Chicken and asked was it really the chicken fried chicken or southern. All she said was it was fresh. Never asked if I wanted something else or offered a discount off the bill. It was still there, not eaten! I did eat my baked potato, I was hungry! So I paid over $14.00 for a baked potato! It was not busy at all, so our server had time to come check on us, but didn’t. I hope we never have to stop there again in our travels!
