We hosted our son’s birthday party at The Delaware Event Space today, and it was absolutely perfect. From start to finish, the experience was seamless, and the owners went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right. The space itself was beautiful and worked perfectly for all the activities we had planned. As any mom knows, something always gets left behind, and today it was the forks. Just when I started to panic, Courtney saved the day with extras, and I could not have been more grateful. That level of thoughtfulness and hospitality made all the difference. The attached coffee shop was a dream for parents, giving them a chance to relax on the plush, cozy seating with a great drink in hand while the kids had a blast. Every detail was well thought out, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We will absolutely be back for another event. If you are looking for a space that is not only beautiful but also run by people who truly care about your experience, The Delaware Event Space is it. A flawless experience from beginning to end.

I’ve had both of my girls graduation parties here. One in May of 2022 & the other, May of 2024. Hands down, BEST venue in Independence!! GREAT customer service, & the hall is gorgeous! The open windows, garage doors, & dressing rooms are some of the things that sold us. Thank you Delaware for helping us make some amazing memories!!! Some pics from both grad parties.

I rented this space for a celebration of life. Worked out perfectly. This building is beautiful, raw and inviting. They were quick with responses and planning. Courtney and her staff were incredibly helpful and very sympathetic to our situation. We appreciated their efforts in making this as effortless and seamless for us as they could. Another plus, they offered excellent options for Alcoholic and Non-alcoholic drinks, as we used the cash bar. I highly recommend this space for your next event. Oh, and they have coffee and breakfast there when not hosting an event!

We got married here last week and absolutely loved it. The windows allow for such beautiful natural lighting that really makes the pictures so great. The price is a lot more affordable than other venues we looked at which is also a huge plus. Courtney was super fast at communicating back and forth whenever I had any questions come up! I highly recommend this place to anyone getting married soon!

We had our daughter's wedding reception at The Delaware. The space was just what we needed......clean, flexible for our various needs, and in a great location with plenty of parking. The staff was very courteous, responsive, and just a pleasure to work with. We would highly recommend it.

We recently got married at this venue and absolutely loved it! From the environment to the friendly staff, every moment of our wedding here was perfect. Courtney helped us every step of the way and was an absolute delight to work alongside! They are also very flexible, communicative, and affordable compared to many venues. If you're looking to get married, I would highly recommend The Delaware for your special day!

Vibes are immaculate in every way! Plenty of natural lighting, plenty of seating, GREAT coffee, and exceptional service by barista! It was a delicious latte! If you’re close to the area, this is a treasure to have ✨ If you’re driving through the area, make the stop and support local! You’ll leave satisfied! I’ll have to make the commute every so often…while I dream of your second location in joco area 🥳

My husband and I searched for an affordable and modern venue for our November 2022 wedding in the Kansas City area, and The Delaware hit everything on our list! Courtney was amazing to work with and so accommodating with all of our requests leading up to our wedding day. The venue and bar packages were very affordable for everything included. We could not have been happier with our choice in venue and cannot recommend The Delaware enough!
