Most of training is done on artificial turf with outdated, stinky, and toxic rubber crumb infill. These rubber crumbs are made of old tires that cannot be disposed of in landfills as they are toxic, but being chopped and poured into TBU soccer fields is somehow ok. These fields are too hot to play, air quality is bad, crumbs would penetrate kids skin when side tackles, and injuries are more common than plying on grass. If you mind your kid well being there are plenty clubs that do only grass or turf with sand as infill.

This was an absolutely frustrating experience. We have dealt with not having a regular coach, lack of communication between random parents trying to coach, cancelled games due to coaches cancelling for not having enough girls even when there were enough girls, driving over an hour away for a game to be told they gave the field to someone else, and much more. It doesn't stop there. They are extremely unorganized and unapologetic about the issues.

As a parent, the decision to leave our previous club was a difficult one, fraught with emotional ties and numerous cherished memories. However, having joined Tampa Bay United, I can confidently say that we have found our new home. The positive change in our child's performance and enthusiasm for the game is testament to the exceptional quality of the club's program. The environment is nurturing, the curriculum is comprehensive, and the coaching staff is unparalleled. In particular, Coach Kizito Iweha has been nothing short of a revelation. Coach Kizito's profound understanding of soccer, his meticulous approach to coaching, and his innate ability to connect with his students have truly brought out the best in our child. His dedication to individual player development has resulted in significant improvements in our child's playing skills, tactical understanding, and overall confidence on the pitch. There aren't enough words to express our gratitude and admiration for Coach Kizito. His relentless commitment to excellence is evident in every training session, match, and player interaction. Moreover, the program, the team, and the club as a whole have created a supportive space for our children - a place where they can grow, learn, and thrive both as athletes and individuals. The club’s dedication to youth development, sportsmanship, and teamwork is truly commendable. Again, our experience with Tampa Bay United Soccer Club has been overwhelmingly positive. We look forward to the future with great anticipation, confident that our children are being guided and mentored by the best in the field.

Terrible club mentally and ideology, the coaches are mediocre and don’t really understand the game. Most coaches on this club have never play at the highest level. Find a club for your kid that focus on developing the player rather than just focusing in the physical aspect. Futbol is a complex sport of mental awareness, positioning on the field and skills. The club only focus on the physical aspect and don’t really develop players.

Fionn coach is a boy who doesn't know about soccer futbol and only wants to field the best players to win but not to teach. The reason for this complaint is because my 8-year-old son has suffered discrimination in the soccer club where he has played for several months. The thing is that they don't make my son play when there are games, and this is supposed to be a club to teach them how to play, not to leave them on the bench in every game they attend, it doesn't seem fair to me and I recognize that My son may not be the best player, but he is a child and he is learning and that is what we pay for, to be taught; I have already noticed it on several occasions, they put him in to play for a maximum of 5 minutes and then they take him out and leave him on the bench for the entire game. It seems to me that this kind of discrimination is not fair because we pay the same as the other children we pay. They do let them play in all the games. For example, today 02/12/2023 we went to a soccer game, some children were missing and when they were complete they put them on the field, including my son, and they were about to start the game, another child arrived and because of that they took out my son from the field when they were going to start playing, that is not fair, my son is a boy and he is very excited to learn and play soccer, to be taken off the field at the last minute. The most important thing should be that the children, including my son, enjoyed their time on the field and learned with all the opportunities and possibilities to enter the games, not with discrimination and rejection of my son by taking him off the field.

After 3 season in other clubs and learning the game. This club has provided safe, top notch training camps for my u11 gifted son. We are far south but its worth the time, effort, obstacles, bumps in road, tears and treasure. Hoping to continue until he makes 1st team and live the dream. We both came to a conclusion this season its the pitch or ditch for both of us. As we light a candle this Friday. We know what to expect in camp on Monday. THANK YOU!
