Brisket was very good and moist, Mac and cheese was great. Wasn’t a fan of the potato salad. Ribs were good a little on the dry side. Service was great. Only complaint is that it’s dirty inside. Needs a good cleaning

We weren't even a mile out of Ukiah on our way up to Laytonville when every 10 minutes I hear "Are we there yet...Are we there yet" Well, I keep a hickory hammer handle in the truck just for this, so I gave Lil Leroy a crack on the kneecap to shut him up! And, that little Weasel said ..."All I wanted know is are we at Smokey's BBQ yet...acause I can hardly wait for them ribs" Man-O-Man you're 40 years old ...acting like a little kid, when the hell you going to grow up, I told him...then I showed him the hickory stick and asked him if he wanted another! Well, he kept quiet all the way up to Smokey's and we went and had some Amazing food! ☆☆☆☆☆

They catered an event o attended with about 300 people and had the food hot and ready with food to spare. Perfectly cooked beef, pink and juicy, perfectly cooked chicken, nice and tender! Delicious smokey beans! Smiling faces on the crew. It was perfect. Highly recommend!

Best bbq I’ve had in California. Brisket was moist, beans were tastey, sauce is perfect. He gave us extra collard greens for free and they were amazing.

Best sandwiches around! Siemone (one of the owners) is so sweet and welcoming. Everything we've ordered has been amazing. So fresh and great quality. You can really feel the love and intention they infuse into the food that they offer.

The absolute worst barbecue I've ever experienced in my 46 years on this planet. Should have realized something was off when we were the only ones there. Ordered pork shoulder and brisket. Received this pile of unidentifiable protein. Tasted like shredded jerky doused in BBQ sauce. The baked beans were cooked so long they were dehydrating again, centers were crunchy. Pesto tortellini which is allegedly a local favorite was green...and dry. Such a horrible experience, I'd take it back for a refund if they weren't closed 😕.

Very disappointed, once was delicious .. but as you can clearly see, it was barely palatable. Meat was overcooked, dry, and visably charred.. for 32$ a lbs for burnt brisket, it’s offensive, charred ribs for 36$ are equally so. 👎

The guy behind the counter was the only positive thing about this restaurant. I ordered the brisket sandwich, half brisket and half chicken sandwich and pork ribs with Mac n cheese and baked beans. The sides were not seasoned they had no taste. All the meat was cold, strange for a BBQ joint. The BBQ sauce was off almost like they forgot to cook it, was watery and a bunch of granulated seasoning. I was hoping this would be a great spot, but I guess I'll stick to my own smoker pit in my backyard. This is not worth my hard earned money sadly I will not recommend.
