Always a great experience in this Sports Basement. Doing some last minute shopping to replace some older walking shoes for upcoming travel, Wendy was both warm and very knowledgeable! Staff in this store know their stuff and are unfailingly kind. Gear selections are excellent and the end-of-season sales cannot be beat.

Had a great experience purchasing ski boots. The sales person was knowledgeable, patient, very helpful finding the right boots and getting the right fit. He took the time needed now I’m set for the season ahead!

I went to Sport Basement for the first time yesterday and had an incredible experience, primarily thanks to the salesperson Wendy! She was very attentive to all my questions, let me try on a bunch of shoes until I found the perfect ones, and was just a joy to talk to. I came in feeling very anxious because I was finding shoes after my recent foot surgery, and I left feeling happy and much more comfortable in my new Hokas! Thank you Wendy and the rest of the Sports Basement crew!

Great experience GIGI was great and very helpful. Above all patient as I tried a lot of shoes on before I zero in on the Bondi I purchased. You are lucky to have GIGI she is hi energy and happy and great customer service compared to a lot people who just go thru the motions with no personality. I will be back sooner than later

As always, SB didn’t disappoint. The sales staff was helpful, listened to my needs and was neither pushy or rushing. I probably spent an hour in the shoe department trying on multiple pairs - thank you for your patience!

Friendly and helpful staff. Prices are just as good if not better than Amazon. They have - no joke - everything you can think of. I was surprised at the options. You can also rent just about anything you can think of which is an awesome offering being that a lot of stuff (snowboarding, backpacking) is pretty pricey upfront if you buy everything. Return policy is exceedingly generous, and if I remember correctly their membership seems to be one of the few out there that is worth it: $25 for lifetime membership with 10% off everything - you'll hit $25 in no time if you do outdoor stuff with any regularity. Very happy to have this spot local!

Excellent active shoe selection! All the show staff were knowledgeable, patient and easy to work with. They took the time to answer questions, listened to concerns and made recommendations. And the prices were reasonable. Definitely recommend getting shoes at the Walnut Creek store!
